Happy Birthday to me

Happy Birthday to me
So happy that I am
Having made it past
The traffic and the jam
Now the road is clear
Now it goes nowhere
Now all of it is given
And all of it is my share.

Swamy Assembled

He stood stark naked
Among the blind
Delivering
Them both
From wisdom.

Growing Elder

And so I shall
Grow elder
Dispensing wisdom
Increasingly unwise.

These Dogs and those Cats

These Dogs and those Cats
Whether pets or found strays
I hate them well all
Hate them their wily ways
Of making us homo sapiens
Fall into their trap
Oh please poor poor me
Poor me on your lap
We'll eat up your food
And take up your bed
Serves you quite right
For being thus far led.

News

And I read the news today
Of murder, mayhem, greed
Made me wonder, as always
Why should I; what's the need
To be informed, and be aware
Of violence, and of one's share.

On Freedom

01

Independence is
A celebration of the free
Not the ones prisoners
Of prejudice and spite
Inspite
Freedom

02

When freedom
Is not
The day
But the nights
Spent in newly minted chains
Thereafter.
